The FreeAgent API provides secure programmatic access to the FreeAgent service, allowing you to build cool and useful tools and services on top.

The API distinguishes between access for companies that have FreeAgent accounts, and accountants and bookkeepers who have a FreeAgent Practice Dashboard that provides access to their clients.

The FreeAgent API uses OAuth 2.0, supports XML and JSON responses and organises resources according to REST.

To qualify for a listing, your integration must have at least three paying customers, and you must commit to providing first-line support and ongoing maintenance. Integrations without paying customers are evaluated on a case by case basis.
